A house with a story
A love story with Andalusia, three generations long
Jacques fell in love with Andalusia and its Moorish past, and built this house above Mijas to share it. His daughter Florence opened its doors to guests; his granddaughter Prune was born here. Today mother and daughter run CasaBlu together, with one aim: to bring out all the magic this land has to give.
You will find Al-Andalus all around the house: in the arches and the tiles, in the scent of the gardens, and at Zafir, where the chef revisits its recipes. Twelve rooms and suites, a hectare of gardens and paths, a heated pool and the sea on the horizon. Even the scent in the rooms is ours: Halmah, made for the house.

Dinner is part of the stay
For eight centuries, Al-Andalus cooked with almonds, saffron, dates and fire. Zafir follows that thread with local produce, Km 0 wherever possible, and a menu that changes with every season, while the light falls over the coast.
